Airport welcome. Hotel transfer. Afternoon at Mercado Urbano Tobalaba — first contact with Santiago's gastronomy, local culture, and daily life.
Valparaíso & Viña del Mar
UNESCO hillsides, street art, historic funiculars, and a bay boat tour. Afternoon in Viña del Mar — maritime identity and Chilean coastal culture.
Isla Cachagua — Marine Biodiversity
Observation of Humboldt penguins from the boat (no landing — protected reserve). Guided snorkeling at Playa Las Cujas with wetsuits and a safety briefing — an Academic-only component. Environmental interpretation in a protected coastal reserve.
Valparaíso — UNESCO Heritage & Street Art
Guided walk through Valparaíso's painted hillside streets and UNESCO World Heritage port district. Local lunch and group reflection on urban history, migration, and Chilean identity.
Andes — Yerba Loca Sanctuary & Astronomy
High-altitude horseback ride at Yerba Loca Nature Sanctuary. Evening: astronomical observation with a professional long-exposure photography session — digital photos for every participant.
Parque Tricao — Nature & River
Visit to Parque Tricao: native Chilean flora and fauna. Relaxed afternoon with food by the river — direct contact with local landscape and nature.
Cerro San Cristóbal — Closing & Departure
Funicular ride and panoramic views of Santiago. Traditional mote con huesillo tasting. Closing session facilitated by Tour Lab. Airport transfer.
